This Privacy Policy describes how the TaekFlow mobile application (“the App”), published by TKD Sports, collects, uses, and protects your information. By using TaekFlow, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account and use TaekFlow, we may collect the following information:

Account information: name, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In or email/password registration)
Training data: belt rank, training progress, completed drills, poomsae practice history, and challenge participation
Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and preferences (such as language settings)
Device information: push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to deliver notifications about your training

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Create and manage your account
Track your training progress, belt rank, and challenge participation
Provide personalized training content and recommendations
Send you notifications related to your training and app updates
Improve and maintain the App’s features and performance
Communicate with you, including account verification emails

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage. Firebase applies industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit and at rest. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

4. Third-Party Services

TaekFlow uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics)
Google Sign-In (optional account login method)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and training data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at hello@tkd1sports.com. We will process such requests within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children’s Privacy

TaekFlow is designed for Taekwondo students of all ages, including minors. If you are under the age required by your country to consent to data processing without parental approval, please use the App together with a parent or guardian, and ensure they review this policy. We do not knowingly collect more information from children than is necessary to provide the App’s core training features.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tkd1sports.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
